Gioacchino Ruocco 16 aprile 18:25:31 Caro Leno ho letto con piacere il tuo albero genealogico e sono arrivato alla conclusione che sicuramente nel tempo indietro abbiamo avuto parenti in comune. Per quanto qualcuno faccia risalire la radice del nostro cognome all'ebraico RUAK (Spirito santo) mi accorgo di non avere pensieri atavici ma aperti sempre e comunque verso gli altri. Il mio spirito poetico mi rende felice ponendomi al di qua delle disgrazie del mondo che in buona parte ho vissuto da ragazzo superandole nel tempo. Sono sempre pronto a gioire e a dare felicità anche agli altri. Forse il nostro cognome deriva effettivamente da quello dello S.S, in quanto i colombi che arrivano sul mio terrazzo mi chiedono pane con un verso che in italia suona ruocc ruocc, non so in Inghilterra. My father was born in Minori and emigrated to England in 1953. My mum, sister and I followed in 1957. It would be great to have a family tree group which goes back in time. I had a research done 20 years ago by an historian from Cambridge University and he traced members of the Ruocco family all over the world, including Alaska and Japan!!! I live in London, UK. Nice to be a "Ruocco link". My father had a sister, Lilina who lived in Maiori, and brothers Raffaele e Vincenzo who lived in Minori, having born there. My father's name was Gaetano and his father's name was Pasquale, also born in Minori...
