In Italy , she has worked with Igles Corelli
and has collaborated with Donato De Santis,
an Italian chef in Buenos Aires , Argentina , as food stylist.

Elena Ruocco is the itchefs-GVCI Event Manager and lives in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil .
Born in Rome, she spent 18 years working as accountant for different financial business then, 8 years ago, changed her life to feed her deepest passion – cooking. She attended the Gambero Rosso professional courses "Professione Cuoco" in
In Rio de Janeiro, Brazil,
Francesco Carli, executive chef or the Copacabana Palace Hotel,
and Elena Ruocco, chef advisor of the Sitio do Moinho,
organised, in that hotel, a refined Ligurian dinner
prepared by guest chef, Claudio Pasquarelli,
of the Claudio di Bergeggi restaurant.
Chef Carli was replaced by Chef Nicola Finamore in the actual event.
This unforgettable dinner was preceded
by the qualifications to the Pesto Championship, c
oordinated by Roberto Panizza, the creator of the Championship.
The winner was Bruno Armbrust.
